Under-sink cold feed is a 1/2" braided flex from the isolation valve behind the left cabinet. There is enough space for the RIO unit next to the disposer. Feed runs 60 cm along the back wall. Recommend replacing the flex hose — the current one is 6+ years old and starting to bulge near the valve.

Kitchen and washroom are comfortable. Shower reading dropped noticeably when the washing machine ran — building supply may be marginal at peak times. RIO is fine at these numbers; PRO would want a boost pump.

Timed a 1-litre jug in 6.6 seconds → ~9 L/min at the kitchen cold tap. Enough headroom for any of our drinking-water systems.

Customer says the water tastes "like a swimming pool" in the morning after the tank has stood overnight — improves by the afternoon. No yellow water, no visible rust. She stopped drinking from the tap two years ago. Wants a filter mainly for taste, then peace of mind.

Feed to the tap is braided PEX. No visible rust or corrosion, but two of the compression joints under the sink are hand-tight only — I've re-torqued them. Recommend the customer keeps an eye on the seal for a couple of weeks.

Not applicable — the recommended system doesn't backwash.

Under-sink cabinet has 45cm of horizontal space next to the disposer — enough for the RIO. Faucet hole on the granite worktop is a standard 32mm — the WaterClub tap fits without drilling. Enough headroom to swap the sediment filter without pulling the whole unit.

Existing 13A socket at the back of the cabinet is on the kitchen ring, tested with a plug-in tester — earth, live, neutral all correct. Fine for the RIO pump.

The isolation valve is stiff but turns. The braided flex from valve to tap is bulging near the collar — see photos on section 1 — we'll replace it as part of the install and it's included in the quote. Otherwise everything reads healthy.
